Farm Work Day Aids Student Learning and Supports Growers' CooperativeJoin us for a day of shared work, learning, and community support at Sandoval Farm in Villanueva, NM, assisting with hoop house raising, irrigation installation, planting, and much more. The work will provide new learning experiences for YFTM students and support the new Bueno Para Todos Growers' Cooperative.
Work hours run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sandoval Farm is located at the end of State Road 3, 72 Dodge Drive, Villanueva. Youth Farm to Market wins Resilient Communities GrantThe Youth Farm to Market Program, in partnership with the Los Pueblos Community Council, has recieved a Resilient Communities Award from the New Mexico Resiliency Alliance. The funds will be used to support YFTM youth who act as educational interns and to cover other operational costs.

Commercial Kitchen planned for General StoreDanny’s General Store is getting a new kitchen! YFTM students will use this facility to prepare meals from fresh fruits and vegetables and learn to develop Value Added Products from farm produce. Eventually, Danny hopes to have a full commercial kitchen where YFTM students will be able to develop, prepare and market their own farm products to the valley.
